Well I'm at an impasse with one of my professions. I started out with herbalism and alchemy. That was fun, then I started seeing people have a lot of fun with engineering. So I got rid of Herb/Alch and took up mining and engineering.
That was from about level 48 to now. Before TBC I had a lot of fun. Pets, Grenades, other devices, a nifty transporter. But now that TBC is here, none of the <300 recipes make me want to press on. So, I am most likely going to take up blacksmithing. And from there I will decide on a weapon smith path to take. I WAS combat swords but I decided to go daggers/fists, and I've always like maces. So I know weapon smith is in my future. As to which one I'll choose...that's a bridge I'll cross when I get to it. What are your feelings on your pre-TBC professions and their future in TBC?

Hey Carimm, just wait for the engineering review and then decide
Yeah, I've heard that too. I think I'll wait for the review like I've been told a few times.
I'll just stick with my money makers (herbalism & skinning) till I get my flying mounts etc. Maybe I'll switch later.
right now im lw and skinning
i think ill stick to that for awhile so i can make some of the fr gear im gonna need and those trinkets and buffs i can now do..
then im prob gonna drop skinning pick up bs and buy my mats to go weaponsmith for the maces if i dont find anything else worth while before then. but of course thats after i get my lvl 70 epic flying mount
Inf stonemaul
thats a really good plan. When the review comes I will finally know what I'm going to do. but currently I am just saving mats, and not leveling my eng because I don't know if I am going to keep it. I Just got my normal speed flyer and I am working on saving for the epic....5100g to go ..... :(
